And this is exactly the reason why the Dreamcast keeps on thinking developments like this just never seize to amaze me. It's so cool that soon we'll be able to play a game online which we couldn't have played back in the day even if we wanted to (outside of Japan that is)

It combines both the regular and DX versions into one. Although there's really no point in playing the regular version as it's the same game but with fewer maps and mechs. Kind of like PSO v1 and v2.

Yea, as far as this game goes only the DX disx is needed.

Finally we will get the online we were robbed of in the US ps2 release.

Didn't realize it but this was actually the last online Dreamcast game ever released. It wasn't out until April 11th 2002!
