maybe I should've put a H Line or something but I literally copied their update from the facebook page from last night or this morning, it starts "Sturmwind Preview by Sabre"

sorry wasn't clear, that was their latest info. Basically they are saying they will soon have a firm release date which they hope will be before 2012 or they are fairly confident it will be. was just updating y'all innit ;)

just received this update from Redspot:

--------------------
Dear redspotgames customer and fans

Sturmwind has made the next step toward completion: The current version has been delivered to the new CD production facility to complete a test production series.

Once we receive these test CD-ROMs, further compatibility orientated procedures will be done. When these tests went without any complications, we can make the final order to complete the production of the Sturmwind CD-ROMs and manuals. As you might know, the Limited Editon boxes are already there, among other components.

We wish you a nice day and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact the redspotgames customer support.

For now, the release date is still set to "TBA". We inform you about any change of it asap.

With best regards

I'm still a little aprehensive as I thought they had already done this part and were just waiting for the final product to be delivered, I didn't realise they still had to do a test production.... I guess we will see if in a month or two they are still putting it off

it looks to be a very exciting game I hope the first print of the game doesn't sell out too fast.

My guess is February 2013; getting that test copy has taken about two weeks and keep in mind they still don't have it. I'm very excited for this game but the thought that it has been done for some time (minus a few tweaks such as SD support which was added during the wait) is pretty disappointing.

late email
Dear redspotgames customers and fans

We're happy to inform you about a new milestone in the production of Sturmwind for Dreamcast.
The test CD-ROMs arrived and evaluation has started in the meanwhile. Since this is the first project we're realizing with this new CD factory, these complex compatibility orientated tests with all kinds of Dreamcast (incl. the portable Treamcast) are mandatory.

Once these procedures are done, we will inform you about the results on our Twitter or Facebook pages.

Have a nice day and thanks again for supporting the Dreamcast scene!

With best regards
