Shenmue modding has a dedicated enough following on the Shenmue Dojo.
We were talking about ripping the models from the game and put them in Garry's Mod so we could create Shenmue comics in the Half-Life 2 engine.

Dotsana, one of the modders has pioneered the work to extract models from Shenmue. Here is Shenmue 2 Ryo model in GTA SA!
