Is it voice capable? That's all the Modem has to be as long as you have your type A modem.

thats a fax/data modem not good enough it needs to say fax/data/voice under the registry there is one that says if voise if your modem has that im pretty confident its a voice modem. Image

Well, i definitely do not have the right modems so far, so I can say it is a hardware problem (incorrect modem). I will try my Diamond modem, I believe this one is a voice modem. I'll keep you posted.

Ok, I found one thing in the "Registry Edits". It states in the last part of the section that you haev to make a new "string", but then asks to "Modify Binary".

Question:
Is it a Binary or a String? I am guessing Binary.

Anyone?

ok for the binary and string thing idk what one to use one causes a data square while the other shows numbers.

but one quick question. the phone cord connecting to the dreamcast. what jack do you plug it into to. the wall or the phone

The Dreamcast will plug into the line jack of the modem, not the phone jack.

hmmm i keep trying stil lgetting nothing :(

edit maybe i need to edit the voice to data regisrty its all in lower case maybe it needs to be in caps
