I have not tried that yet for AFO.. if where I have the modem wasnt such a PITA to get to Id have done it already

dunno if Ill get to it tonight.. but if it works in a way thats kind of a drag since Ill have to change my whole setup to be able to do that when I want to play.. :x

HuntrRose wrote:using a pi with 1.5.. I either forwarded the port or dmz'd the dreamcast on various attempts.. 4x4 Evo also does not work for me..

I get the same errors others have posted pictures of.. and also a "failure to synchronize with other players" error on AFO
I have made a (french) tut for AFO connection, maybe/hope it can help you : http://x-community.grafbb.com/t1970-ali ... -du-online

Great! I should note that you only need to do DMZ or port forwarding. There's no need to do both. DMZ is usually the best option because you don't need to enter the ports manually and you're all set for all current and future games.

So I'm still having troubles connecting to the AF:O servers.

I've used my DreamPi for Q3 and 4x4 Evo in the past with no issues, but AF:O is eluding me.

Now I get a Hard Crash To Boot Screen right after i get the "Connected! (33600 Baud)"' confirmation screen... boo :(

I'm Running DreamPi 1.5, set up through PW 3.0 (which I verified to go online through the browser and 4x4 server menu). And the Pi has been DMZ'd off my routers network.

hmm....

90 second video shows entire process. (and my more humble of my two gaming setups)
