Actually, the server never crashed, it was a issue with open port and firewall policies.
Played around 59 matches now, so it works.

Just tested it, the moment any gameplay starts it gives the lost connection error, just thought i let you guys know!

Being I am a "Netopian", I'll be watching from the sideline.

I connected last night and was able to play a few games with tact and killer. Are you guys able to connect to other dreamcast games?

Maybe you need to enable DMZ on your routers (Shouldn't need it but wouldn't hurt trying anyways). Do you guys have a firewall enabled?

What model pi's are you guys running? It could be the latest software has issues with it.

I can confirm the "lost connection" issue. I played some bots briefly yesterday and got that error about 3 minutes in.

Damn im itching to play, even with problems. Who was this source for a BBA version?

Also seems its a little like 4x4 evo when sometimes certain people can't join certain other peoples games but CAN Create a game and others can join theirs, it might work. If you have trouble Joining others games maybe try creating one and get others to try and join your game?
Maybe its a simple fix tho i hope
