Hi, I'm pier solar character designer and cutscene/opening director.
In real life, I'm a professional animator/storyboarder.
I really like the trailer's artwork. Although not being overtly anime in visual style, the body's suggestive position/ proportions (her butt) and face remind me of some seinen or adult anime/mangas. The lightings/ambiance remind me of an old playstation rpg named Kowloons Gate. I also like the melancholic music :) Looks very promising.
Will this be like a new Snatcher/policenauts/rise of the dragon ?

I think the Snatcher influence is unavoidable ;) But we're definitely not aiming for anime aesthetics. Actually, that character's looks and proportions are based on a real model.

Nevertheless, we hope we'll be able to show some final character designs soon, just in case we've made people think naked ladies and big butt will be the main selling point behind our project!

This is not exclusively Ameba-related, but our project got mentioned in this list by Hardcore Gamer among Elysian Shadows, Pier Solar, Ghost Blade and whatnot. This may be a great year for DC enthusiasts, right? ;)

Also it seems this article inspired this video, which is just as nice:

Then someone translated the list and shared it as if they had made it themselves here:

We talk about it in our blog. Anyway, thank you all for spreading the word! :)
