Re: [request] Remove checks for DreamMovie VCD player?
2000 was quite a while ago so it is understandable to not remember everything.
I see the devs at that time received much more support.
Also this might be because the dreamcast was a new system and ppl were excited for everything released for the platform.
totally agree that site needs to be archived.
the amount of homebrew that was available for dreamcast is vast, many homebrew projects are lost.
digging through webarchive for stuff that leads nowhere.
I guess if we upload all of the homebrew vcd players as well to this thread then we have covered everything lol
Hoping that some1 will mod dream movie player and fill the request.

Yeah, the version that was already hacked by echelon back in the day is unfortunately not DreamMovie. It's a real piece of shit, unfortunately. Frame drops and audio sync issues galore!

Re: [request] Remove checks for DreamMovie VCD player?
Just for the learning experience, I created a GYPLAY CDI with an old Simpsons episode. It's works with GDEMU/GDMENU and includes a PVR file. The hard part was the conversion of the original AVI (XVID) file. I found Sega's Movie Creator tool to use for the conversion.
Thanks, SMiTH for the script.
