^looks good! I'm guessing that it's blue?

drunkn ghost, I bought the mount. It needs a VESA adaptor for a bigger screen, but it is rated for 55 US lbs.

This is the one I got, and the plate as well:

I also really like the looks of this one. I didn't find it at the time I was shopping. It's pricey, but you wouldn't need the extra plate.

The second one would be worth a try because it looks so heavy duty. Mine required a lot of tuning of the ball joint to finally stay put after rotating. Even now, I still have to tighten it a crank or two, now and then.

Thanks for the links!

I looked up the specs on my T.V. and it's 51lbs. I am sure it would be fine but I am probably too paranoid to risk it.

The second one is rated for 185lbs but it says 30" - 50" displays and mine is a 55". It would probably be fine as well but I wonder if the brackets for the T.V. might not work because of the size difference? The extra bracket you bought looks like I could make it work with this mount as well if I had any issues.

I will probably give the second one a try. I am just scared to hang my baby up. I don't want to break it before it's even paid off!

Well, mine is 46 lbs and like I said, the ball joint still needs occassional adjustments. 51 lbs would be the same messin' around. I would say, if you can drop the cash, then try the heavier duty one plus the adaptor plate. Check your VESA pattern though, you might not need the plate.

It would be nice to find one that just rotates, rather than featuring the additional tilt bullshit.

but it isn't good for watching movies on ;)
besides, lcds nowadays are almost as good as old crts, plus your eyes won't be bleeding after a few hours of gaming
