DreamPi - Fails to answer Dreamcast call after new router installed.

I've tried PSOv2 and PlanetWeb 2.6. PlanetWeb says that the line failed to receive an answer, PSOv2 says "Failed to connect to server. Please check your phone/network line and make sure it's connected properly."

I'm really baffled by this one. Like I said, everything looks fine with the DreamPi itself. The phone line simulator seems to be working correctly judging by your description. Wish I could be of more help but I'm at a loss.

I've paged Kazade via PM, so hopefully he can chime in (if he has the time). In the meanwhile, I have a BBA as a back-up, so I can still play online (PSOv2 is my only online game atm). I appreciate all of the help y'all have been giving me so far.

Did you try Re Installing the Pi software just in case?
And you're sure the line simulator is still working ok?

It still sounds like theres an issue with your phone line simulator in my opinion, maybe your phone cord is bad? U could buy a new VLI from PCWiz if he still has some.

In an earlier post, I mentioned that I reflashed DreamPi, which didn't solve the problem.

EDIT: Just bought an LVI and AC adapter from PC, should hopefully be here by Thursday. I'll update the OP after testing.

Hey, I saw your PM. Sorry my internet has been down at home for nearly a week now so I've not visited the site.

I'm not really sure what's wrong. The DreamPi side certainly looks alright... the ARPING probes are just checking to make sure that those IPs aren't in use before they are allocated. The problem definitely seems to be between the Dreamcast and the Pi, so that could be the DC modem, the line simulator or the USB modem. Let us know how you get on with the LVI, hopefully that'll fix it!

I'm glad to hear that it's not the Pi, but I seriously hope it's just the line voltage being dead, cause I think I can send the Viking in for repairs. Thank you for the feedback, Kazade!

That reminds me, does anyone know how to check the voltage on a phone line? I have a multimeter that I can use to check it, but I'm not sure where the negative prong should go to test it.

Well, I have good news and bad news.

Good news is that the LVI and AC adapter have arrived. Bad news is that there hasn't been a change in the DreamPi's activity. It's still not picking up the phone call. I'm not entirely sure what to do at this point.

This is really weird. I guess it could be either the USB modem or the Dreamcast's modem. Probably more likely the USB modem. That's just a wild guess though. I can't think of anything else.
