Sorry for digging up an old thread, I just found myself interested in this and wondered if anyone knew if any vmu files for RPGs exist still from the original community around this game, it’s really tough to create a game with the language barrier but it would be really cool to check out some games made in the software

Speud's VMU tool has 5 saves, dunno if they are any good. VMU Tool is always a good place to start with these sorts of questions. It's far from complete, but hard to beat a large library of saves.

Didn’t even think to check there thank you! I found a post from 2003 saying someone had 200+ saved before the service went offline so I’m hoping someone can come forward with something more too, they shared the archive with others on the forum so it’s possible they still exist, it’s crazy to think there’s only 5 games left

Yeah, the notion of a revival with tons of new content seems dim. Uncovering someone's treasure trove would be a real trip.

VM Data-shuu has 8 titles for download. Unfortunately, most Dreamstudio "games" are released in segments, and this disc only includes the first chapter of each.
