Hey guy's, does anyone know where I can find the Hooligan release? I have found links to the game over at Snesorama, but all are offline....
Anybody know where I can get working links? I was hoping to test out the new translation patch, as it is 70% translated so far.

Now will this be translated like ENGLISH like i can pop it in and i can read the words or will i have to read off a guide like the rest of the games.
ps. i believe the 100 swords translation was only to be a guide for the dreamcast and nothing more.

DC AD 2001 Patch 0.70 has been released. This patch translates all the background graphics text used on game Dialog screens. It also translates all the Alternate history and America Front Campaign Scenarios. This should allow gamers to play the Campaign all the way to a successful conclusion.
I will continue work on the 1943-1945 Campaign scenarios where Germany was in decline. Also I may work on Scenario Mode menus and Scenario Editor Menus and Help Topics if I don't get burned out first.
But for now, I intend to try hammering my way through the Algeria campaign scenario, where I have been stuck for some time. I hope you enjoy playing the game as much as I do.

Well, this guy made a program and actually edited the text of the game. He modified the Kanji to Latin it is really kool.

I suppose so. But he stated that it is tedious as hell to do this, thats why it's taken him so long to get 70% complete

Yeah, thats why its been forever from his last patch to this one, cause I imagine that he must get frustrated as hell by doing it all by hand like that lol.
He said he may get burnt out before the final release, so I am thinking that this may be as good of a release as we get.
I wonder what the guys translating Segagaga are doing, they must be changing the text or recording their own voice for the game, since it was never released outside of japan.
Now as far as Rent a hero, I wonder how one would go about translating that on DC, if they could use some files from the Xbox version or somethiong?
Anyway, I have never seen such dedicated community members do translations for games on any other systems like how you did with Shenmue 2 smith. I know translatiojns happen on other systems, and most are with 2d games, so this is pretty impressive on last gen games.
