Haven't played it with anything but the BBA so far. Everyone else was playing with a modem though and they looked smooth to me.

What do you mean? I thought this game went by 2 names:
Pod: speedzone and pod 2: multiplayer online

Speed Devils Online Racing is another Ubisoft racing game that is being worked on. There were 2 versions. There is no online in the first release. In the US, the original had white label packaging(no online play). When they added online, it had Black label packaging (online play).

Yea they have a DCres release plus there are at least 3 other scene releases.

This is the only active online game I cannot connect with. I've used the BBA, DreamPi, then finally the LanModem for giggles...all fail. All other games work for me, so this one is a mystery although I get an incorrect login message at times.
