Yeah, for sure. If I had more than a shitty dorm-sized CRT monitor from like 10 years ago, I probably wouldn't be comfortable TATEing it, and it seems like those full-screen top-cut-off video modes are not really good enough, at least not with fairly fast bullets. So claustrophobic.

There is now a full playthrough by an owner of the neo geo version on youtube. I won't link in this thread b/c it is full of potential spoilers. But if anyone would like to see it, it is not hard to find.

It seems like a full playthrough of the game can take about 18 minutes. I think that's a little on the short side for shmups, but not by much. Many of the ones I have played can be completed in about 20-25 minutes.

Yeah, I saw that. Makes sense, considering that it's only 6 stages, which is a bit short even for a shmup. It will probably be hard enough for me, though, that it will still be worthwhile. Plus, it has a scoring system, if I ever manage to actually beat it playing for survival (with no continues).
BTW, did you notice the options on either side of the playership? I don't think I saw those in any other videos. I wonder what's up with that?
Also, the vid that I saw anyway, was the 1.0 version, but the poster said he'd upload a run of the bugfixed version once he downloads it.
