I'd really like to get one of those mission sticks. They're a bit expensive though so I'm gonna keep looking for a good deal. How much did you pay for yours? I'm sure it wasn't too cheap since it's boxed and in mint condition. I'd just go for a non-boxed average condition one.

It was around £45 (not sure what that is in US Dollars). There's one on Ebay atm with a faded box but in good condition for £50 but you'd have to pay postage and import costs so it ends up being quite expensive. Your best bet is to do something similar to myself: Find a specialist japanese import shop based in your own country.

I got all my games plus the controller for £200 which is at least a £100 cheaper than the comparable items on Ebay.

By the way, I played Space Channel 5 Pt 2 tonight and it goes straight to the top of the japanese-games-you-can-play-without-knowing-japanese list. The first game was good but this is even better. Cool Cool Toon is a good japanese rhythm game without a language barrier but even that pales in comparison. One of Sega's best ever games I think.

Right then, off to play Guilty Gear X for a couple of hours before getting some kip. I'm wondering, did it get a US release ?

Whatever, I'm looking forward to seeing these hi-res sprites that it's famous on the DC for :)

Since there is almost 3 times as much DC software in Japan compared to other other regions in the world, It's hard to say which are the best imports worth fetching! But I can personally say that i'm very happy with the humble amount I've acquired over the years :D Ahh, Still remember dropping a preorder deposit at my local retro store to guarantee my copy on release for Under Defeat (he was only able to get a hold of 6 copies for the store!) I continued slightly delving into imports simply cuz they are sometimes considerably cheaper than their US version so it's a great way to save some money. But then i began to really get into DC importing when I got a JPN DC console for free in a rafffle at one of my jobs :D

That's not bad at all. It's about $71 US. There's only one on eBay right now that I can see and it's about the same condition as yours for $80 US + shipping.

Under Defeat is such a blast (literally ! lol) to play, it really is a must buy for any DC importer. You can pick up the ordinary version for less than £50 occasionally if you keep your eyes peeled on Ebay - which is only what you'd pay for the latest FPS on newer consoles ;)

Because of the way you've shot your photo it's not that easy to work out what games you have. Please could you give us a list, if you can't be bothered to reshoot it, as I'm very interested in your collection.

You won a japanese DC in a works raffle  That's sick !

Ah, Gigawing ! I just love that Steam Punk look. Never got hold off or played the sequel I'm afraid.

I never got to play Guilty Gear as my cherished crt tv decided to give up the ghost :( . I do play all my Dreamcast games via vga box if possible as both my tv and projector are vga equipped. I'm not sure what to do about my busted tv.........there can't be many vga crt tv's left so maybe I should get it fixed.

I'll let you know how I get on with GGX when I finally get around to playing it.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice for All sucks greatly
