1. Our PSO server is free.
2. The call depends on your local ISP. If you do not pay a toll call charge with your existing ISP to connect to the internet, then you should not pay to connect to the server.
3. Do not forget to use "Dream Explorer" from BlueSwirl to backup your character.
4. Please let us know how you did.

PSO Server Merger with Sylverant

I sent a mass pm to all users reagarding the server merger. Here is the message if you didn't receive it. I forgot say... a big thanks to BlueCrab for making the merger happen! :) He had to do quite a few things for us to make this possible (including writing a redirection program).

Members of Dreamcast Talk:

I am happy to announce that we are merging our Phantasy Star Online server with the official Sylverant server.

What this means for you as a PSO player:

  • You will be able to see the ships of both DC Talk (Vega) and Sylverant (Iselia). This will bring more players together.
  • Dreamcast players can continue to connect as normal using the same IP and/or same autoconnect disc; no changes are needed.
  • You can register your serial number and access key on the Sylverant website via an automated process. This will make it much easier to connect with PC and Gamecube as they require registration before connecting. Create an account here: http://sylverant.net/account/new.php then log in here: http://sylverant.net/account/login.php . This account will allow you to generate a PC PSO sn/ak or enter your own and register your own Gamecube PSO sn/ak. Dreamcast users do not need to preregister.

What is changing for connection:

We apologize for having to make PC players re-register but in the long run the new setup will bring more players together.

If you have any questions please direct them to this topic: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=274

Thank You and Enjoy!

I apologize. Some things in the guide need updated for PC such as the .exe links. But for now my post above contains them.

Edit: The guide is now up to date.
