I'm trying to find a game I played at my friend's birthday back when DC was new - nine years ago. His brother had a huge stack of burned discs so looking at disc covers doesn't help. I don't know what it is actually called, but we called it "Poi Poi." I don't even know if that's the correct spelling. The closest I've found is Puyo Pop, but that is not the game. In "Poi Poi" we played 4 player battles. There were small square shaped arenas where each player starts in his corner and defeats the other players by throwing obstacles, and picking up special items. That's all I remember - that and playing 'till 2 in the morning. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks a lot.
No no, I've played Power Stone. Power Stone is boss, but that's not it. It wasn't as detailed as Power Stone. The characters were short and stubby. Kinda reminded me of South Park characters. The game probably isn't as fun as it was then, but not knowing which game it is is killing me.
I am not sure but I think the game that you are talking about is either Poy Poy or Poy Poy 2. I just found out about it by looking up Power Stone on GiantBomb and checking the similar games section. I can't find any information about a Dreamcast edition but only PS1 editions.
Wow, that's the game! Could I have been mistaken all these years, thinking it was available on DC? I don't think the guy owned a PS1. Is there a way to play it on DC? I'm new to the DC world. But that is it. That youtube video just brought back so many memories! That game is THIZZ!
Sometimes the PS1 games that are playable on DC via bleemcast have no sound or the graphics get a little disoriented. You will be perfectly fine though. They still work really good. Totally worth using.
