In the dreamcastlive shop page they list a modem for us market with a line voltage inducer built in. Is there anyone with a tutorial or something with the parts required to do that mod? I saw several tutorials online for in-cable mods, but none for inside the modem.
These appear to not require the 9 volt battery, and I just prefer the clean look of not having a big box hanging around off the phone line.

I believe he uses a USB stepup board. 5v to 9v

Yeah, I used a 5v -> 9v step up on mine and it works great! Easy to install and it’s nice and clean.
