Thanks to Flyinghead F355 Challenge is fully back online!
The site features:
VMU Ranking uploads
Ghost Car Downloads
Exclusive F355 Movie
Dreampi users will automatically be redirected to this site. I'll add a read only version for BBA users in the future similar to Sonic Adventure 1. (Due to upload features being built into the disc)
Thanks again to flyinghead for all his work bring this game back online!
Some tips for anyone trying to upload your lap times:
- You need to have a country code and "Score Name" set or it won't submit the data. If either one of these is blank, clicking "Register all laps times" will just refresh the page without submitting the data.
- You can set the country code in Options > Game Settings from the main menu of the game.
- When entering the "Score Name", do not hit Enter after typing it in or you'll get an error. Hit the escape button or "Exit" on the on-screen keyboard to exit the box and press the Update button.

The Link ?
Unless you add two DNS entries to your computers hosts file you won't be able to access the website by browsing to the url. (Dreampi users however have DNS settings already preconfigured so it should work out of the box for Dreamcast users). You access the website using the f355 game disc

Unfortunately I don't have a dreampi because modems are not available for sale. So if I use an emulator by entering the dns is it possible? I'm not sure I understood.

Sometimes I use flycast emulator for sampling Dreamcast content on PC. It uses the dreampi DNS, so if you follow weblinks from the game disc, it will give you the proper redirects to Dreampipe's fan-hosted page. Some games can even play online with real Dreamcasts.
Flycast is portable not requiring a big install or large software library. The only setup you will need is to find a BIOS dump, and the GDI files (complete TOSEC set on archive.org *wink). This software is free, so it doesn't hurt to try.
