StarTech USB 56k modem with DreamPi?

Hello there, i wanna get my Dreamcast online with DreamPi and i was wondering if i can use a StarTech USB modem, because i can't find any Dell, Lenovo or Zoom USB modems used/new.

Looks to me like the StarTech one is using a Conexant chipset, though a 3000 series versus 400. It may well work. I can’t find any reports online of folks testing it though.

I got a StarTech.com USB modem - the 'hardware based' one, and it works with DreamPi no problems.
