Why did you get your DC

got it when it came out, coz it was the new sega console I had been waiting for all those years (just like I did with every other sega console )

I remember seeing the DC for the first time at an EB store in the mall. It was probably like 3 months before any advertising was done in the states for it. I saw it and it just blew my mind. I wrote it down and finally months later i heard about it and was able to preorder it. I remember paying like $200 for it.

so i still have my original that i bought when it first came out here.

Then like 2 years ago i saw this coupon in one of those eb magazines....it was something crazy like you buy 3 dreamcast games(used and that cost over 5 dollars)...and you can buy a dreamcast for 20 dollars

so i just couldnt pass that up. I endedup spray painting the case orange and the gray parts blue. pretty baller

It was and still is the anti-Playstation. The Dreamcast games were more interesting and different in a sometimes quirky way attracted me.

I got my Dreamcast:
1. Because it was by Sega.
2. Because I was and still is passionate about Sonic.
3. Because my older bro told about newer consoles popping out in the stores.
4. because I wanted to surprise my friend(that PS2 guy) that SPAWN was also on the Dreamcast and he literally crapped his pants with happiness....lol

lol i have that game. i forget what its called but its like qa3 but with spawn characters. i loved it!

I wish i still had it though but i lost a bunch of my games when I put them away back in 2004...

man, i gotta tell you Radkin about bros taking away stuff...befroe i turned 13 my older bro used to take things away from me because I used to give them away when i didn't use them anymore! then when i realised that I wanted all those things back it was too late either because the person I gave it didn't give as much love as i used to or I never saw them again...my older bro gave me back everything he took...lesson lernt!

I got my Dreamcast after going to a friends house and playing House of the Dead 2 and Sonic Adventure.

I loved the graphics and the arcade like gameplay. I had to get a Dreamcast

one of my friends go theirs a month after I got mine(Launch). He liked playing Sonic Adventure: NiGHTS Pinball he had to get it just for that part...
