So pretty much an interpreter to allow running other systems content and games on target platform?

Not really, interpreters are kinda slow but this one should run at least half of "C" speed and then you can mix assembly with high level code for maximum speed.So pretty much an interpreter to allow running other systems content and games on target platform?
The idea is to have the compiler directly on the console(since the DC already has a keyboard) so one doesnt have to go back and forth to the PC.
