Over 20 years after it hit store shelves, I at last managed to have a Dreamcast come into my hands . I suppose my collection, if you can call it that at the moment, starts today.
I'll look into getting DreamPi running, hopefully sometime soon.
I've read that certain models are unable to run burned games, is that still an issue? Here's the bottom of the console in case anyone could confirm if mine is capable of that:

The dreaded 2 revision 2s as I've read are rare to not have patched BIOS to have the MIL-CD exploit intact

You might be lucky, since your rev2/VA2 is manufactured in September 2000. According to this article https://dreamcast.wiki/MIL-CD_compatibility (note 1) the last compatible DCs have been manufactured in that month.
