Sonic franchise
Ok, so there seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding the sonic franchise in general. Especially the 3D games. Well, I want to know what you guys think about the blue blur's 3D adventures. Tell me what your favorite mainline 3D Sonic game is. PS, I'm not including Shadow the hedgehog because it's a shadow game. I'm also grouping Secret rings and black knight as one since they're very similar.

Re: Sonic franchise
SA1. Even though the framerate (and camera) kinda sucks on the DC version I still love it
I make music for old consoles ^_^

Re: Sonic franchise
I only put a question mark on sonic 06 because I thought no one was going to pick it. Sorry, sgmx. I totally respect your opinion.

Re: Sonic franchise
It is difficult to choose between SA series and colours.
Sonic Rush series and Sonic Mania were very good too.

Re: Sonic franchise
Sonic Adventure 2, as to this date, it still has the best portrayal of Shadow and the best grinding mechanic. It all really started to go downhill starting with Heroes. After a decent start in 3D, they just butchered everything. Which is funny, you'd think it would be the other way around, that they improve over time.
Heck, you can barely call the recent games 3D, as like 50% of the stages play in 2D.
