this port of quakeworld was done by shuouma. the build date of this iso is 10/19/2018. multiplayer with dialup connection is supported along with keyboard and mouse. preliminary work on controller support is in this build including an on screen keyboard

this iso also has all the assets necessary to play the orginal team fortress online (as far as i remember)

please keep in mind this is a very old alpha, while it does work well enough to be an official release on par with previous dc dev standards, I know shuouma is shooting for a lot better, which is why nothing has been released yet

I hope by releasing this build I was privileged enough to have on an sd card for 1.5 years, it will generate excitement in the scene to see this project through

looking forward to the 2fort dreamcast games in the next few days 8-)

the iso is an sdiso, someone else will have to get a CDI working
to connect to the internet, you enter "dial" into the command console using the keyboard once the game is loaded

I'm eager to try it out, anyone want to step up and make a cdi? I have no clue how to go about doing that.

With out the src makes it gpl violation quake 1 engine is gpl i doubt he be happy .. i guess people can see it work

This is a really crappy thing to do man. It's just common courtesy to ask someone's permission before releasing their work. The link has been removed. It can be added again if and when Shu gives the ok.

Edit: Shu told me he's ok with it so you can add the link again. Please do not do this again in the future though. Always ask for permission before releasing anything that isn't yours.

Glad to see this out in the public, but definitely ask permission before doing such things. Shu has made miracles happen in the DC scene and it would never be the same if he left.

Many of us have been dieing for more info on this . Is this only modem or does it support bba too? Looking forward to playing around with this and any new info

Whoops, I didn't read the whole thing and realize that it was shu's version. This is why I shouldn't post at 1 am.
