DMZ Help - Finding my router

Post by ERVOSCV »

This is a very beginner question, I'm sorry. I am unsure how to begin the DMZ process. I am aware I need to go to the settings for my router, but when I type in my router's IP address, I only have this 1 screen that displays anything specifically listing my Dreampi and I am unsure if I am even in the right place. I've clicked on every tab. Was not asked for a user and pass either..

I do know very recently ATT had to come to my home and replace my router, when their job was done, they advised me this new router kept my previous one's settings and will only update if/when reset it. Do I need to?

I'm scared to mess around and click things, should I click allocate and see if it has options for DMZ etc? I feel silly, been reading a lot of threads, but I can't even find step 1 :?

check some of the other tabs and sub-tabs

the DMZ tab for my router is under applications and gaming.. which you do not have

maybe its under firewall?

IP Allocation isn't going to help (it's DHCP settings)

Go to Firewall and look in there. There should be a DMZ or DMZ+ option.

Alternatively, you could use UPnP.
