Just a (
major) heads up, Google is deactivating the "less secure apps" option necessary to login to G-mail with the dcgmail.sh script
as of May 30, 2022, so your DreamPi G-mail access
as it is currently set up will cease to work past this date.
Fortunately, there is a workaround available by activating Google's 2-step verification system, where you
generate a specific app password for your DreamPi to access the G-mail server. When you go into the app password system, under the "Select app" dropdown, choose "Other (custom name)", then type in "Dreamcast", and finally click Generate. The system will spit out a unique 16-digit app password.
Make a note of this password, as you will now need to update the G-mail password on your DreamPi using this new app password.
Run the dcgmail.sh setup script on your DreamPi again, but you will now type the generated Dreamcast app password into the dcgmail.sh setup script when it asks for your Gmail password,
NOT your main Google password as before, and you will be all good to go from May 30th onward. (Less secure access is automatically disabled when you turn on 2-step verification, FYI, so if you have any other apps that rely on this setting, you will need to generate more app passwords for those programs.)
