MMORPG similar to PSO for PS2 alive again

Hello, there is one game that have private online servers to play on. Its .hack//fragment. Game is very similar to PSO in many ways. Heres how it looks like:

When You download patcher unpack its folder somewhere and put ISO file from mega link to patcher folder (ISO file is in folder named 5th Step). Then run patch file - when cmd window appear just hit Enter and then ISO will be patched. Now You are ready to burn ISO or send it to Pendrive and play this game online over internet with other people .

I actually got my PS2 online on private servers a few weeks ago, but wasn't really impressed by the online game selection. Mostly sports and Call of Duty games. This game looks cool though, I'll have to check it out. My PS2 isn't hacked though and can't run ISOs or games from other regions, so I'll need to figure that out.

My real wish for PS2 online though is Monster Hunter. There was a guy a year or two ago (I believe the same guy who revived Resident Evil Outbreak) who said he had developed a test server for it and while unfinished, it supposedly worked well enough to go on multiplayer hunts.

He never made the server available to the public though and we haven't heard much from him since, although I have heard that he's still doing some stuff in private forums and stuff, so it doesn't seem like a dead project yet.

Go with the memory card exploit! FMCB package softmod er they're so many buyable for nothing, what, like a dime? Then OPL to run the games and wLaunchELF (the PS2 filebrowser) apps are really what you need

If you grab SwapMagic v3.8 (no no damn swapping) and have USB/flash drive handy it's very easy to "infect" your memory card yourself and unlock all her power ^.^ Just like our precious Dreamcast FUCK A MODCHIP!!!

And then you could even order MaxDIYPower's SATA board for the network adapter so can say sayonara to shit IDEs and plug SATA HDDs =} (Those things living in Japan so patience and even has ribbon cable already attached to itself)

I got a used WD Blue 500gig for my PS2. Runs absolutely skrong and if you are going to go all-out you could even plug up to 2TB capacity

So if I'm understanding this correctly, all I gotta do is buy a memory card with the FMCB program installed, and then I can run homebrew stuff off of a USB stick inserted into my PS2?

Yeah, people sell pre-modded MCs on eBay. Most people are probably playing this with PCSX2, though.

I've got an original model with the network adapter installed. I might check this game out just for the heck of having something to play online on my PS2. I'm not really excited by the game itself, but who knows, maybe I'll like it.

It's as close as I'm gonna get to Monster Hunter on PS2 for now.
