No sir. All I did was take the Dreampie 1.6 image and update/change/add a few OS level things. Whatever the current limitations are on Dreampi, they are not changed with this image.

The only thing this image was really meant to do was add support for Pi Zero W and implement routing changes.

Apologies.

EDIT: All my links have been removed by request.

That's cool and everything, but it would've probably been better if you'd contacted me and we could've worked together.

DreamPi 1.7 is coming soon and it's based on an entirely new OS image, it's currently in testing with only a couple of minor issues remaining.

What benefit does the routing set-up in your image bring?

Besides the fact that you don't need to have tcpdump running to use this properly on a raspberry pi zero w,

- The routing portion ensures that everything being forwarded from incoming ppp0 to outgoing eth0 is masqueraded.
- By marking incoming packets on interface ppp0, you can apply rules separate from eth0 which IMHO results in a much more stable connection.
- Packets should now flow from one interface to another predictably (as opposed to being able to connect and DNS is not working etc.) and more consistently.

Apologies. I'll take it down if it offends.

You didn't have to remove the links!

It's just forks of active projects tend to cause confusion and support issues (if someone has a problem we need to know what particular version is being used).

I'm interested in the work you did with iptables, my solution in 1.7 is to enable promiscuous mode on wlan0 but yours might be better.

I'd appreciate it if you could explain your fix in a GitHub issue at github.com/kazade/dreampi :)

Dear kazade, may I ask you what is the status of DreamPi's 1.7 version?

I would like to buy Raspberry Pi Zero and don't know if I should add some money for "W" option?
