I'm not sure I'm gonna release the engine. I mean, I could put the whole source on github but it's kind of a mess and there's part that are not engine ready. My engine is not windows compatible, only DC. It's faaaaaar from a full fledge engine. No multiplayer support. No clear menu system right now. It's quite minimalistic. Also, it's only 2D.
Right now the main "features" would be:
Able to parse from 2D sprite sheet using JSON format Sprite animation Playback of .OGG and .MP3 files. Support romdisk swapping to speed up loading. Easy way to load up font and display bitmap texts. Save/load ? Tilemap (to make hex maps)

Just a little update saying that we're almost done with the basement/archive level. The puzzle is almost done and we're adding a bit more content/lore element to interact with. Next we're gonna redo the assets for the temple environnement.
We thought about doing a little livestream + AMA this coming week. Anyone interested in that?
