everyone should download this for the launch of qw soon (i don't know exactly when). its a server browser, qw never had one to begin with
http://www.quaketerminus.com/servers.shtml
http://www.quaketerminus.com/servers/qview50.zip
the two current masterlists are
master.quakeservers.net:27000 - 304 servers right now
qwmaster.ocrana.de:27000 - 214 servers right now, though it might be duplicates from quakeservers.net
it works great, and you can have multiple groups. so you can put masterlist 1 in one group, master list 2 in another, and another group for specific servers added manually, etc
we can also have an updatable CFG file that can be maintained and distributed here or on dreampipe
quakeworld server browser

Re: quakeworld server browser
Is this required to play Quakeworld online on DC or is it just a cool optional feature? Do you install it on DreamPi or on your regular computer?

Re: quakeworld server browser
when Id made quakeworld in 1996 or 1997 there was no server browser, you had to use quakespy ( which became gamespy) or planetquake. so yes you need this or use http://quakeservers.net

Re: quakeworld server browser
Dr T is right on, I remember using the GameSpy software which allowed you to sort and choose from many game options/modes. I really missed that feature when it went down.
