So far the way to have a modified BIOS was removing the original BIOS or soldering an EEPROM chip on the original chip, but now with DREAM BIOS REVOLUTION you will not have to solder anything just plug and play on the original chip.

I'm sorry if it's a dumb question, but what's the purpose of changing the BIOS? Region free is an obvious one, but I just want to see if I'm missing something.
