Phantasy Star Online - Unlock Areas

I have a newbie question about Phantasy Star Online v2.

How do I permanently unlock an area? I thought that all I had to do was beat all the stages for an area and then it would be unlocked in the future.

I beat Forest 1 and Forest 2 last night offline. I went back to Pioneer today expecting that I could start playing Cave 1. However, it only showed Forest 1.

in short.. play offline...

oh sorry i posted before i read all.. go to see the principal..

in other words.. once you beat the dragon.. go to the principals office and talk to him (i talk to everyone in there) and quit/save as normal.. then next time you will be able to access forest 1 + 2 and caves 1..

sorry i jumped the gun there.. I should have finished reading before posting

youll have to do that for each difficulty as well.. so get used to running those levels solo..

To unlock the Ruins, after you beat the mines, you need to talk to the principal, then go back to forest 2, and caves 2, and mines 2, and touch the pillars.
