Phantasy star portable

It was leaked and I got it, its pretty good but its all in Japanese because they havent said a release date for an English one but its pretty easy to get.
All the missions are simple, just kill no puzzles no nothing.

You can play online with 4 other poeple but it has to be ad hoc, or use a program called xlink to play online with other poeple, it tricks the psp into thinking its ad hoc but its really through the internet.

well if anyone has this game and has xlink my username on xlink is maxkill42

lvl 8 atm
Pso- max (schthack)
4x4- max4242
Quake 3 - maxkill42
Starlancer - maxkill

PM any time you want to play!

Thats awesome. Is it even out in Japan yet? I have the game for PC and its pretty good but doesn't compare to PSO.

this isnt the same thing though. the game gear phantasy star is an early game in the PS series. phantasy star portable is a part of later PSO series. it has online play unlike the early games by Sega.

Phantasy Star Portable is part of the PSU series, not PSO. I've already beaten the demo, twice, despite it being entirely in Japanese. Not that difficult considering the menu are identical to those in the other PSU games. The actual PSP storyline bridges the storyline gap found between PSU and PSU: AotI.

Also, PSP does not have online play! SoJ is discussing the potential release of a downloadable patch that would add online play capability, but it is not yet an available feature.

Phantasy Star 0 (that's a zero folks) for the DS on the other hand shares many similarities with PSO and unconfirmed word on it is that Sega may end up announcing that the zero represents it as being the prequel to the PSO series, but that is just a rumor at this point in time. In all seriousness though, the developement team behind PS0 was headed up by former Sonic Team members who were responsible for DC PSO. All of the character classes of PSO are available in PSO, including the never before available HUnewm (Hunter Newman Male). And <drum roll>....

PS0 features online play! :D
