I've summarised this thread here: https://www.thedreamcastjunkyard.co.uk/ ... -lost.html

also reached out to Sega Amusements and Southsea Leisure. Tried to credit everyone involved in this fascinating story, if i've missed anyone let me know and I'll update :)

friends, dumps of all canceled games are already there, just while they are not in the public domain, but when that happens
I'm more than sure that Premier Eleven and Chicago/Chase 1929 duips will require a fee much lower than $15,000

Yes, for sure I know it was reported at least 3 people had a dump of Chicago 1929, so it is only a matter of time before one of them hopefully leaks it. Somebody in that close circle of friends is bound to leak it sooner of later. The odds of that happening increase with each new person who has access to the dump.

Pretty much these are the last 2 games that we could even play on the Dreamcast due to how the other remaining games use touch screen or other special controls right megavolt?

I have to be out of the house all day tomorrow so I’m planning to visit that arcade a) for something to do and b) out of weird morbid curiosity that there’s some minuscule chance the atomiswave might still be there

Hey man, if you could get some newer HD footage of it in action compared to old shitty video from years ago that would be awesome!

Hahaha we can only hope that by some fluke it is still there! If not I’ll just try to entertain myself playing on the scam toy grabbers and air hockey (against myself)

Good luck Tom! :)

a bit off-topic but I remember back in the day when made a petition to bring Atomiswave games on Dreamcast.

https://dcemulation.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=66193

I wish can make this again for another game to come on Dreamcast. :)

MetalliC this is one of the three members of the team that was involved in the preservation of AtomisWave games

yes, if desired, it would be possible to connect a touch screen to the DreamCast, but those games that remained unported are not worth the effort
