I'm wondering if lockups occur with autofire disabled? Like the game originally ran. It seems to me on ms6, there is constant access to the drive, while other games (ex. kofxi) will load all the assets before a new stage starts.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but:
Is it actually possible to compile faithful/playable versions of Atomiswave games for non modded Dreamcasts using regular cds? Or the streaming method cant be changed?

Check and burn (with discjuggler) the .cdi version;
Metal slug 6 is working fine (with some slow...)

You may have done this already, but make sure you have the correct cdi files in your ImgBurn folder. They can be found here https://legacy.padus.com/downloads/cdi.php
aka DavidHK on DC games.

looks like its been converted to NAOMI. maybe theres a way to revert it to atomis files?
