We should be getting new peripherals for our dreamcasts. Inevitably this will fuel rumours of a Dreamcast 2
Good news though.

New accessories for the Dreamcast would be cool, but I read this as controllers just for PC (and possibly PS4 and mobile). I think we still have to dream for wireless DC controllers. It'd be nice if they created an all-in-one box or cable to directly connect the DC via HDMI. Except those handful of incompatible games would still not work.

A dual analog dreamcast controller would be a dream come true.

Yes, but there are as yet no games that support it. It would be great for future developments though.

Yeah, unless they would make it programmable so that you could program the 2nd analog stick directions as the face buttons or something, it would be pretty useless.

I kind of figured it was a given that the second analog stick would be the same as ABXY but the convenience on the stick. Possibly with pressure sensitive buttons.

The Dreamcast does not support pressure sensitive ABXY buttons. But it does support a second analog stick, even though no controller was ever made with such a feature.
