pcwzrd13 plays it off like its just his first run and just posts a time for the hell of it. NOT TRUE.
I have been pushing hard trying to beat his time for days man.... DAYS. he is a pro at all games it seems.

Just as I was getting my muscle memory back... my DC overheated and started rebooting.
Oh well, I'll keep at it and shave it down towards 3:15.
Also, holy cow this looks ugly compared to the PC version. Given that it's Infogrammes I'll just assume they lazily ported the PS1 version over.

Agreed. I'm curious if the PS1 version runs better because the game really slows down when there are a lot of cars on screen. I'm thinking it's just badly optimized for the Dreamcast.

Ok, I shaved my score down considerably, and now I'm not dead last in something!

WHAT! my time was posted without hitting anything, or maybe 1 thing. HOW did you get it so low with crashing all the time?!?! I drove just about the same route too. WTF?

Did you brake at all? If so, that's your problem. Never, ever, ever brake. Just release the gas a bit.
I did notice that it uses the analog triggers well, so that is something the PS1 version probably couldn't.

I swear the traffic in this game is out to get you! I can't count how many times a car has randomly swerved in front of me! I still managed to nab the top time though! 
I made a lot of mistakes (as you can see in the video) so I'm sure a much better time is possible. I'm thinking you could get close to 3:10. I also edited the top speed achievement because I don't think 130MPH is possible; it's now 125MPH.
