Hi! I just got my Dreamcast online via PC-DC via an old pc with serial.

Feels great as I've been wanting to do this for 6 years!

Welcome to the community. Great times right now. Shu has revived many of the 2k sports games for online play. Better get yourself some of those. :D

Welcome!

Just FYI, with a PC-DC server, you won't be able to play Alien Front Online or any of the 2K football games. They require fixes that are only available via DreamPi. Also voice chat won't work in Planet Ring.

I don't plan on getting a microphone for my dreamcast anyway (unless I get one for a fiver) and can't i just force dns redirection with a pc-dc under linux/ubuntu?

It's nothing to do with DNS. Some packets need to be modified on the fly with software that's included with DreamPi.
