Spirit of Speed 1937 Dreamcast/PC, its history and the Broadsword Interactive archive

A 3GB archive of Spirit of Speed 1937 and 2002 (PC and Dreamcast) has been preserved. After reflection, I am not able to propose it to you.

It includes promotional, marketing, conceptual and explanatory documents about some of the game's development tools (3D Studio Max 2.5, level editor, engine etc.). The archive contains the source code of the Unreleased version of SOS 2002, development tools such as the track editor and a variety of assets (different build) for SOS 1937 such as cancelled tracks (to be confirmed).

This article allows you to see the contents of the archive and learn more about Spirit of Speed 1937, a game created by the development studio Broadsword Interactive:

With the permission of one of the Appaloosa designers, I can share with you 46 photos of Ecco II: Sentinels of the Universe on Dreamcast (Unreleased), including some previously unseen maps.

You can find them below with my old Ecco 2 and Ecco 1 releases:

Things to check again:

-run the 2 unreleased levels of Ecco 2 that are only in my 2 builds of the game
-Fix the 4 Ecco 1 builds from the Appaloosa dev kit.
-be able to play the Agartha graveyard map
-Find a way to access an unused cutscene of Agartha (Sequence 07) or at least be able to play the map.
-Find a way to play the default playable section of Agartha ( TERRAIN ) only from corrupted builds (without modifications)
-repair the corrupted Agartha build that Frédérick Raynal had sent me.
-deeply analyze my Guilty Gear prototype, I'm sure there's a debug menu.
-run the cut parts of Stunt GP and understand what the Nascars are really about. The prototype could also contain the necessary stuff to use for demo builds like E3 (script to be modified?)

In the spirit of Ecco, today will be the release of a Dreamcast prototype of Ecco The Dolphin Defender Of The Future ( Apr 22, 2000), about 20 days before the final version. It is from this date that the Debug Menu will be removed.

Greetings Laurent,

I would like to share this piece of information I found on supplement of a Portuguese (EU) video game magazine called "Mega Score" dated back from February 2001, being written in January most likely.

From the page 5-7 there's an article dedicated to PSO. The magazine reviewer was very mad because SEGA sent him the pink gd-rom late. He seems surprised with the color of the cd, which is a clear indication that it wasn't common back then. He also refers that the e-mail he received with the "password" (SNAK, I assume?) to login online with, had already expired by the end of the day, so he couldn't review the online mode. Seems to me this pink gd-rom was commonly sent to magazines for review purposes and is the same as the one your gracefully shared with the community.

Here's the link to the magazine scan for reference:
