I made a LightScribe label for this which I've attached in case anyone wants to use it.

You'll need a LightScribe drive and the LightScribe Template Labeler.

I want to have the image on the disc. I wonder where I'd find someone to do this for me?

I just wasted 5 cdr trying to write it. I used Alcohol, ImgBurn and Disc Juggler, and none of then works. My drive's minimum write speed is 8x but all my other burned disc works fine in my Dreamcast (japanese version). Any tips? I want to play Volgarr on Dreamcast so much!

You didn't try to burn the sdcard iso did you? My friend just did that by mistake and my volgar disc makes a loud viking roaring sound (rumbling). It does not load.

I'm having the same problems you are. I tried Disc Juggler and ImgBurn and I haven't had any success. I used verbatims and philips cds and tried various speeds from 4x to 16x. I tried burning them on my laptop, desktop, and I even dug out my old Pentium 4 desktop I used to burn DC games with back in the day. I also grabbed another CDi off the net of DC Mame which I burned and it works on my Dreamcast. The DC mame cdi I grabbed was burned on the same media at the same speed as Volgarr. BTW most of my old DC games are burns and I've never had any problems until Volgarr which is the only game that doesn't boot.

For me, upon booting Volgarr it stays on the Dremcast logo and never goes past that, just makes noise reading the disc. I doubt it's my laser because I tried my old scratched up burns from 10+ years ago and they all worked perfectly. My dreamcast was manufactured in May 1999 according to the sticker on the bottom. Including the sticker info just in case that leads to something.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm only guessing here, but maybe there is something about maximum read speed. A user here said that he burn at 4X speed, but there is a lot of drives and discs that don't support this write speed. Dreamcast read 8X speed fine, it's not very recommended but works.

Image is ok, i have successfully burned it at 16x with current ImgBurn version with Padus .CDI File Mounter plugin put into installation directory.

Obviously the cdi works since so many people have it working on their DC. I'm trying to find someone who has another DC to test my burns.

Until then, I've had this thought. The game is only about ~38 Mb on the disc, this is a tiny area on the inner part of the disc. I remember that tiny PS2 games would have "Dummy Data" files inserted so that the game data would be pushed farther out from the center of disc. The reason for this was to make the game easier to read and load faster. Is there a way to add dummy data to the Volgarr cdi? I'm thinking this may solve my problem.
