SLaVE

Hey guys, here to get some feedback on SLaVE - an arcade-type FPS that's using my 3DGE engine. Recently, after posting a clip to our Facebook page, many people started messaging me about it. Light talks later, there could be a real possibility that my team can port this as a full-fledged game, and if enough interest peaks, can be published.

It's all up to what people think, but I think this game is pretty badass and could well utilize the recent enhancements I've been making to the game engine in general. For the unknowing, it's being developed on the same technology that powers my own Hypertension: Harmony of Darkness. The developer and I have been in contact before regarding engine stuff so we're no stranger to each other.

I would love to hear thoughts about it.

Slave looks great and I would love to see it on the dreamcast but I think it would be best if you focused on trying to finish the games you are currently making. I don't mean to sound like the voice of doom but you have been working on hypertension for about 5 years and there is still no playable demo available.

And Dream in the Dark. Still eagerly awaiting that one...

I would have very limited involvement in SLaVE. My priorities are to my own projects still, I would only help port the game and fix some bugs/add minor features. The rest would be up to the original developer.

Hypertension had a playable demo in 2011 before Atari closed its doors (several people, over 20 or so, helped beta test in a bug-hunt campaign). The game was about 80% complete. We shelved it for two years because of them so I don't like to treat it as "development hell" more than it was a greedy company screwing up already drawn-out contracts.

Dream in the Dark is on hold for several [legal] reasons I cannot get into, but I can definitely release an old demo.

This game looks really fun. Thanks for posting it here for feedback, Corbyn. I'm really late to this post but i'm glad this is making it to DC. Got my copy pre-ordered. Slapped it on the front page news.

went for the LLE version.
for those who want it I advise to be quick, they said on facebook that half of them have already been sold

Isotope (TDGMods) Update: over 50% of the LLE's have sold, we don't expect them to be available much longer (literally) - so if you guys want your copies then now's the time to do it! Don't wait until it's too late! The regular LE is moving fast too!
