Hucast has announced the supporters/collectors edition. It comes with cardboard sleeve, normal copy of the game, superplay DVD, soundtrack, stickers, art book - and another interesting addition: you receive copies of beta disc versions of the game if you have purchased the collector's edition.

They are charging 79E ($108) inititally, and 89E ($121) for anyone buying after the first week they are on sale.

This is a crazy package. If it were a little more affordable I'd be all over it. As it is, I might just prefer to have a normal cheaper version of the game. It would be cool to have copies of beta discs though.

It's almost as if they found inspiration by their whole Dux, 1.5, and Redux fiasco, and decided to just pick pockets in one entire transation

I'm going to have to wait for a regular edition before buying. As much as I'd like to support them, and I am interested in the game based on the screenshots, I need to see a lot more from them as far as screenshots and video of the game before I would invest over $100. In their own words, the game is currently at about 5% completion and the screenshots are actually aspirational mockups rather than indicative of the current state of the game. I just can't bring myself to fork over that much money when things are at such an early and non-existent state ;)

I think they've had a couple already for Ikaruga and Shikigami no Shiro among a couple other DC released shmups.

yeah that's true. But it is pretty awesome that a 2013 DC shmup would get one 8-)

Agreed. I wonder how they will do it - the Hellwigs don't seem to be ultra expert shmup players judging from their gameplay teaser videos of Neo XYX.
