Ok that is bad ass! I really like the Chinese theme of this one. Love the film filter effect over it as well and the old 1960's Kung Fu movie references and music!

Not sure how a M.O.D.E. would help in any way? If there are any limitations it is going to most likely be with the memory. Similarly the other night I asked Ian about the amazing Streets of Rage Remake and he mentioned it also would need the extra memory mod to work. I really want to mod mine with the 32mb RAM mod but it is a heavily modded system already I did not build and I do not want to screw up the previous mods on it, plus I only have basic soldering skills.

^Was seeing reports of some Atomiswave/OpenBOR games loading from MODE, but not from USB-GDROM or GDEMU. Perhaps some file size/formatting/load-time restriction ? Idk.

Definitely looking into that 32mb memory mod if it’ll help some of these more fully animated sprite fest multiplayer OpenBOR beat em ups, or make some more Naomi/IGS ports a reality !

This does look great! The music really sold me on this, authentic sounding 1960's era "kung fu" (martial arts) flicks

I greatly appreciate it brother!

Figured Dreamcast would be a great home for all these "top tier" OpenBor games, since they LOOK like elite late90's ARCADE beat em ups in the vein of SNK's "Sengoku 3" or IGS's "Knights of Valor", the latter which our friend MegaVolt85 is bringing home for us!

Dreamcast already has all the ultimate Arcade Fighting games from Capcom, and it would be great to have the elite beat em ups featuring the same pinnacle of late 90's spritework, for younger sons/nephews who get frustrated with complex inputs, but love the large well animated sprites and mashing buttons!

I have got it to boot up i could get it play-able with cut down amount of levels and only one char.. This about how you have to do big large games like this .. It uses over 64mb of ram on pc..

So have have less levels only one char select-able etc and i could make it a play-able version on dreamcast..

We saving more then 16mb of ram compared to the pc version of openbor right now.. Really have to optimize the games not like we have 16 mb og ram after engine boots more like 13 to 14mb..

Engine never releases mapped sprites ether pc or dc if you watch it on debug

If we cut out monkey boy char & eliminate one of the “old film lines” layers lol, and one or two levels per path, would it be possible to just make it a 6 mini-game/6-part epic ?

I could do something like this yes dont think the film layers are a problem.. Every char has moves weapons these all have to be held in memory mapped as sprites and cant be freed ever that why i have to cut the chars use.. I could have levels play-able each one at time like that..

Dont want be a debbie downer but you have to put in a lot work to make dreamcast version use-able see some of mine like gods of war and heaven and hell etc they took a lot of time to make complete-able lot of these people are releasing you cant get past the first level just because it boots and you can play does not mean it go past level 1

6 hours by hand down sizing grafix and renaming files names just for a start






All these i made sure you could play start to complete etc
