Quake 1 arena 1.3 update Now with new video demo :)

Small update to fix some bugs home you enjoy :)

No longer need a keyboard to start for example using custom radmax engine for this

There are still bugs and other problems but an update was asked for by a freind..
First map has some freezing others dont I'm working on it complete not the same build
as radquake5.0 I will refine it over time to get a smooth fast play some maps are like that
now



Whats this about

Q3 comes to Quake. This is a great mod - some cracking levels (27) and you get a real flavor of Q3. Latest version has improved bots & new gamemodes -- Dreamcast version included new dm maps no need for quake 1 pak files type map37 to see a new map. I will be making my own maps for this. I have tryed my hardest to make this stable extra fast polished release. Total time worked on just this was 2 weeks.
This is based on the PSP and NIntendo 3ds port and the pc version. Great mod of quake with q3 weapons, armors and gameplay style.

How to use
------------------------------------------------------------

now if you have a dreamcast keyboard just use it. at console when it first loads type map 1 or any others

I have also included map alias binding config so you dont have to know the map names just map 1,2,3,4,5,6, all the way to map 37

Some problems i will have to fix the first map is way to large for memory so it freezes starts i will optimize this very soon i now have menu music as well.. I will trim the maps and find out of the 30 that play the best for a better user experience also be using radquake custom from now on which pip had me work on fixes other bugs..

This crashes before it gets to the main menu on my Dreamcast. Can anyone else confirm?

If you have an old radquake save config save ///you would have to del it or this will happen it's not the same version this is running on real hardware the video is direct capture.. not emulation


SO there is a problem with older builds and new radquake with config loading take you vmu out then load this and it will boot up..


so to see it run remove your vmu then boot it .. this build is much older then the new custom i will be updating this but config loading seems to crash this as thats how tight ram is..

To confirm just remove all vmu's only 1 controller and should have no problem booting it..

This problem is also crashing atf as well.. this never use to be a problem very frustrating
