Hello friends I am developing this game for many years ago. I didn't know it was so difficult hehe!

Image

Formally know as Project Bennu 'Non Casual Encounter' is a little visual novel/adventure developed in BennuGD for Dreamcast.

It will feature traditional visual novel gameplay and adventure game, some mini game and VMU support.

I am about to release a prologue soon both in English and Spanish language.

Some old screenshots WIP of course:

Here is a new screenshot. You can see how the game will look:

I will update soon with old & new stuff.

I hope you like it!!

I didn't know.

Are you using a custom version then?

I am developing with Indiket's version...

It is so great to see new BennuGD projects! I remember following it very closely around 2011 or so when those guys really started targeting a new Dreamcast build. I believe that it was also Indiket who updated it a few years back to a more modern version over at Dreamcast.es correct?

Nice to meet you. It is your version available to download?

Are you running out of RAM? I don't have problems now because I can unload the assets and load the new ones...

I want to ask you. Can you play ogg without problems in BennuGD?

We are trying even with .opus but we experienced some microcuts in audio so I am using CDDA...

Haha. It wasn't.

BTW do you ever developed something in DC? Maybe you are aware the time that it consumes...

Yup. The first port was done by Colombians Developers.

Later Indiket updated it a few times. It is much better now, I would say...

since i did not have the correct chui sdl my update is not ready the controls dont work i have re write that code for normal sdl yes it can play oggs fine I have bin size down to 900k when i have the controls other then keyboard working in the update i will release it it's also faster and is compiled vs kos that has malloc debugging turned off that gives you 2 meg more space.. It's on the back burner for me to many of my own projects not enff time..
