Yeah, no other option but VGA for me too sadly. I really hope somebody can figure this out. Maybe I need to message Japanese-Cake and see if he could work his magic like he did with hacking the other non-VGA games?

I burnt and played on my secondary cast over S-Vid. Absolutely stunning work you guys!!!

@mrnobody: I'm afraid, I'll be the one commenting on the quality of the video cutscenes. The little that I've seen (i.e. the opening sequence) has been hard to watch, since it's full of MPEG compression artifacts. Did you use the original GD files for adding the subtitles? Just in case you're missing these, let me know. I might be able to help you out.

Does the original GDI boot in vga mode?

I don't think this game ever had VGA sadly or it would be an arbitrary thing to add and would have been done by now. All we can do it hope and see if Japanese-Cake can work his magic.

I've been hoping someone can make a VGA patch for this. I remember trying this game years and years ago back when I still had a CRT. The idea of co op survival horror seemed great. My friend and I stumbled through it quite a bit at that time.

Now it's finally in English but VGA/HDMI is the only way I can play now. I'll keep hoping.
