Why would you chose dreamneo cd over the dreamcast megadrive port
well because it's based on low color low res megadrive port

see the lame exhaust lighting on the dreamcast port compared to Dreamneo cd also lower res
lower color pallet
less detail as well why they did not use the neogeo cd version as base and not the megadrive i dont know

I'm agree the dreamneo cd version is the last version of xenocrisis and there are some improvements.
I have the dreamcast version, but for sure, i really wish to play the neo cd version on my favorite dreamcast.

Xeno Crisis neogeo cdrom version SE boot disk no game included you can buy the iso and pressed cdrom
it will run perfect on this version i created for it.. if you would like the boot disk to run this game no iso

Dreamneo cd boot disk and plainfiles for adding your own legal iso or using as swap disk for your pressed cdrom..
Custom gdemu image and ip.bin for use with your bought legal iso of the game how to make a selfboot with this i have covered in videos on my channel.. want to use real dreamcast and swap in a real neogeo cdrom you can do this with this bootdisk.. Example like bleem..

Can this play other neogeo cd games sure but it's been optimized for this game.. Just like bleem retails where optimized for each game..

I think of this more as fan service as i was tasked with a boot disk that could turn at the time very cheap dreamcasts into a neogeo cd console..

That was more then 18 years ago when i was hosted by ngemu and supported on pay-pal from neogeo dev community..

It is but you need cdr or gdemu only for it not perfect or 60fps so i dont put it here

3 plays like junk it's not not dreamneo cd but aes only why i can get this speed is cdda uses zero cpu time

fact both metal slug 1 and 2 play like crap on real hardware locked to 30fps
