Megavolt, I have the report structure of some logitech flight sticks too, like the Extreme 3D Pro.
Even some force feedback ones like the Force 3D and Force 3D Pro.
Also have the report for some other joystick type devices like thrustmaster HOTAS, microsoft sidewinder
Let me know if you need it.

we can start with Extreme 3D Pro since @pcwzrd has it and can test it.
there is only one more problem, DreamCast does not have such controllers, so I have no idea what layout should be made for convenient control

Well there is the Panther DC. I just don't know what buttons are mapped to what on that controller. Pictures of it show the buttons aren't labeled. It might say in the manual. Maybe someone that owns one can chime in?

I don't think Panther DC is suitable, maybe you meant ASCII Mission Stick

There's that as well but the Panther is closer to a flight stick. At least it's a lot closer to the Logitech Xtreme Pro. The Panther apparently works very well for games like Starlancer.

Panther DC works about the same as all axes mode
in Unreal Tournament I turned on the Panther DC setting to use both sticks

Do you think a wireless xbox 360 knockoff controller like this design could work? Probably, all depends on the receiver, yes?

Says "updated for 2024" - xbox slim came out in 2010!

Also, "specially designed for Americans".
OMG!

100% wireless working with rumble, direct or with hub.

Receiver is emulating a wired xbox 360 controller and megavolt85's adapter likes it. Passes all test with 240p Test Suite. Power Stone playing great in 2 player mode. Rumble is a little lighter compared to the Dreamcast rumble packs and that's fine with me. Controller Ring of Lights are working properly.

Build quality is quite good for a knockoff and only costing $21 USD. Everything looks good on gamepad-tester.com. Sticks are centered with no drift. Triggers are analog and have a full linear throw. All buttons were detected as expected.

I'm using a Pico board with original firmware.

Me, too. I didn't know what I was getting into. Worked flawlessly first time after pairing - no troubleshooting needed.

Was testing 2 player Under Defeat - English translated version. If time permits could you look into adding analog stick support for the game? It's d-pad only. Maybe you've aleady updated this game, I'm not sure.
