Got myself a DCHDMI/DCDIGITAL hw1.
Already got a GDEMU (on fw 5.20.5).

Is there anything I can help with/test?
Let me know exactly what I need to test in order to help out.
As you've got a HW1 DCHDMI could you check KOF Evolution to see if it's the same as the results I got in this post ( https://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/vi ... 90#p177673 )

it's set to 1080P, Force VGA.

Ok, test done.
DC with GDEMU 5.20.5, DGDIGITAL hw1 (fw v4.9) and a HD (1080p) Samsung TV.
Put the DCDIGITAL in 1080p resolution. Tried Force VGA and Cable Select.
Using the GDI "King of Fighters Evolution, The (USA)(TapanM VGA Patched)" found in this thread.

Here are the pictures.

Can someone build a .CDI image of KOF Dream match 99 (with VGA patch) for testing purposes? Was hoping to test out the game on my Dreamcast with the VGA cable setup. (It also looks like the USA version has moves and blood remove, in contrast to the japanese version)

Thanks for that. Eugh, must be something at my end then. I'll keep searching.

what do you have going into your DCHDMI? an all in 1 hdmi-->miniHDMI cable or do you have a pigtail miniHDMI to female HDMI socket? or even just a little miniHDMI>female HDMI usb stick sized thing?

Wondering if it's my pigtail adapter that's the issue.

thanks for giving this a shot as well. I tried another cable and it's still the same. will need to rule out the TV as it's all that's left.

EDIT: for anyone that cares, tried it on my computer monitor and it's still the same. must be the DCHDMI that's the issue as there's nothing left to test from what I can tell.
so far I've tested different images, cables and screens. All give the same result. This hasn't happened on any other game so not sure why the DCHDMI is being so picky about this one. Weird thing is that it works fine on the cable select option so there must be an issue with the vga signal in the DCHDMI somewhere.

Is there any hope for Plasma Sword ever being VGA compatible, because if so I will finally be happy with my DC setup and anything else that comes along will be a bonus.
